I joined this wiki because: I'm always trying to learn more about wikis and their uses.

The best word to describe me is: earthy

Interests: animals, plants, deserts, mountains, . . . places without people.

Favorite movies: Life is Beautiful; Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Favorite TV shows: None. Documentaries on occasion. David Attenborough

 My hero(es): My wife and kids

My superpower is: Patience and distraction

If I could live anywhere, I would be nomadic, enjoying one place after another.

My dream job(s): Wildlife artist or documentary film maker.

What else you should know about me: I teach biology classes. My students and I created an online physiology book. I have made wikis for my students to share notes in physiology, microbiology, and (coming soon) anatomy. I have been making wikis for different community groups and really want to make a wiki movie where many people work together in every step of the process. Thanks to my involvement with Wetpaint I even won a one-week trip to Australia on the Australia Travel wiki! The photo on the left is me in the Blue Mountains--very close to where David Attenborough filmed the amazing lyre bird!
